THE INTELLIGENT SAFETY SYSTEM CAN INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF THE HÄNEL LIFT

With the Hänel emergency mode system, the Lean-Lift can continue to operate even in the event of a malfunction

While Hänel warehouse systems operate reliably and without errors, in case of any operational irregularity, the Hänel emergency mode system promptly addresses it.

Lean-Lifts® can be fitted with a second safety circuit, for example. This means that if the safety light barriers in the retrieval opening fail, it is still possible to continue operating the Lean-Lift® with the sliding door closed. The Hänel Lean-Lift® can also have the Hänel ESB (expanded Safety Bypass package) integrated. By activating the ESB system directly at the microprocessor controller, the user can continue to operate the Hänel Lean-Lift® in defined cases despite malfunction, until the service technician arrives.

The Hänel ESB system activates in the following cases

The ESB system includes eight integrated safety interlocks that allow customers to independently address the issue and continue LeanLift® operation until a Hänel service technician arrives on-site.

The Hänel ESB system activates in the following cases:

• If the photocell malfunctions
• If the height sensor malfunctions
• If the positioning system malfunctions
• If the tray sensors malfunction
• If the tray sensors within the lift unit malfunction
• If the upper or lower safety zone sensor malfunctions
• If the shelf memory malfunctions
• If the sensor monitoring the horizontal movement of the tray malfunctions
